Communication #2: Bartenders Set Appointments to Receive Communications

Make an appointment now on your calendar to send the appropriate communication below to your bartenders on the third Tuesday before the date of your event. This communication will explain the next steps for the bartenders.

Simply:

  1. Copy the appropriate communication below
  2. Paste it into the communication method with which you choose to reach your bartenders: email, LinkedIn, Messenger, etc.
  3. Fill in all the blanks 
  4. Change the subject line to something you like
  5. Send it to your bartenders

FOR VIRTUAL EVENTS:

Dear Guest Bartenders,

Thank you all for agreeing to be a virtual guest bartender to help raise money and awareness for ____(Your Cause)____ on ______(Date)_________ 

Tomorrow morning at approximately 10:00 am you will be receiving a communication from me regarding the event. 

Please make a note to check your junk/spam filters because sometimes these communications get detected as spam.

Once you receive my communication:

  • Click 'like' and click 'Going' on our Facebook Event page by following the link I will send
  • Invite 100 of your friends to attend the event on Facebook
  • Forward the pre-written communication to 20 or so of your contacts
  • Copy and paste that communication as your status update on your social media
  • Share the event on social media

After that, please mark your calendars to receive emails on the next three Wednesdays and to set aside a couple minutes to forward the communication to 20 or so of your contacts and to share the event on Facebook.

Please ask significant others to personalize your communications and Facebook postings and send them out on your behalf.

There are contests for the bartender who raises the most amount of tips, and for who invites the most guests on Facebook, but those contests are determined by who brings in the most amount of money through online donations that reference their name.
